YouTube parody of Dziekanski death triggers controversy

By Polish Canadian

A YouTube video parodying the death of Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski has drawn censure from the RCMP and criticism from some in the Polish community.

The video, posted Dec. 23 and titled “Mega Man vs. Polish immigrant,” shows an early version of hit Nintendo video game character Mega Man zapping to death another game character superimposed with Dziekanski’s face.

    It’s an excellent video.

As usual, some perverse fool has found another way to call attention to himself and I’m sure he or she hopes to garner money from this. What a sick society when some feel it’s ok to mimmick or contribute to a mother’s grief. I simply cannot think of this *game* in any way as helping the situation.

I see it as a tribute. It’s an artistic expression of how the author feels about the matter.

How can the police justify these actions? One article states that the police officer says that the video is only one sided. Think about it guys we saw what we saw..own up to you being a little to quick on the draw!!!
